Patriot Missile Launcher, Remote Function Controls for Power Generation and Commands

Syncro successfully completed and won a FFP effort to manage the manufacturing and integration for a Maintenance Work Order to add remote function to the AMMPS 15kW generator used for the launcher for the Patriot Missile System.

• The Challenge: The TDP received was incomplete from the original prime.
• The Solution: Syncro used our engineering resources to scrub the BOM for obsolescence issues and design related issues. Syncro made all the necessary corrections and updates while concurrently providing these to the end customer for approval to maintain schedule.
• The program required a unique solution for an auxiliary pressure vessel that had not been successfully manufactured. Syncro researched and qualified a supply chain partner and established a solution for this vessel. Syncro also designed and implemented an in house ESS (Environmental Stress Screening) Test Protocol for the applicable electronic systems we manufactured.
• The program first article and production quantities were delivered ahead of the customer’s required dates.
